90 Proof

90 Proof is a Las Vegas-based rock cover band focusing largely on 90s guitar-driven grunge rock to pop and beyond. It starts with the live sound of a Les Paul and Marshall setting the playing field, while Pure Joy on vocals has a versatile and seemingly unlimited range allowing the band to tackle a range of tunes from the rap of "Bombtrack" (Rage Against the Machine) to a rocking rendition of "Crazy on You" (Heart), to a variety of Chris Cornell tunes, Foo Fighters, and No Doubt, to sing alongs such as "If It Makes You Happy" (Sheryl Crow) and "What's Up" (4 Non Blondes) which always hits. The band has played everywhere from the Gold Mine Tavern in Henderson, to the Copa Room at the Tuscany, the roof at Taverna Costera in the Arts District, Rockstar Bar and the Mosaic on the Strip, and Backstage Bar & Billiards and Fremont Country Club on Fremont Street.
